On July 9, 2022, the 17th Joint Meeting of Directors of Chemistry and Chemical Laboratory Teaching Centers of Zhejiang Universities was held in Hangzhou, with 87 groups from 29 universities, including Huzhou Normal University, Ningbo University, Wenzhou University, Wenzhou Medical University, Zhejiang University, Zhejiang University of Technology, Zhejiang University of Technology Zhijiang College, Zhejiang Ocean University, Zhejiang University of Science and Technology, Zhejiang University of Technology, Zhejiang Agriculture and Forestry University, Zhejiang Normal University, Zhejiang University Xingzhi College, Zhejiang Shuren University and Hangzhou Normal University, participating in the competition. Zhejiang Shuren University, Hangzhou Normal University and other 29 universities 87 teams to participate in the competition.

In order to meet the needs of the connotation development of higher education under the new situation, explore new ideas and new ways to cultivate undergraduates' practical and innovative ability, improve the overall level of undergraduate chemistry experimental teaching in Zhejiang colleges and universities, strengthen the cultivation of students' practical ability and innovation ability, form a three-level disciplinary competition system of the country, the province, and the school for students, and promote the sustainable and healthy development of college students' science and technology competitions, the 12th Zhejiang College Students' Chemistry Competition and the 17th Zhejiang College Students' Chemistry and Chemical Experiment Teaching Center were co-sponsored by Zhejiang Provincial Education Department The Party Committee of Zhejiang University Students' Science and Technology Competition, the Teaching Guidance Committee of Chemistry and Chemical and Pharmaceutical Specialties in Zhejiang Higher Education Institutions and Zhejiang Chemical Society co-sponsored the 12th Zhejiang University Students' Chemistry Competition and the 17th Joint Meeting of Directors of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Experiment Teaching Centers of Zhejiang Colleges and Universities, which were hosted by Hangzhou Normal University and Zhejiang University of Technology. Due to the epidemic, the Chemistry Competition has been carried out online in December last year to complete. The joint meeting was postponed to July 9, 2022 for successful completion.
